Expressions of interest for the Provision of a Target Hardening Service

Tender description

Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council are seeking expressions of interest from providers of target hardening assessments and installations to victims of a range of crimes. Providers should be capable of initiating independent target hardening assessments that will stipulate a detailed list of recommendations that will enable victims to remain safely in their own home. Providers will be expected to work closely with KMBC’s Safer Communities Team to underpin the work carried out by them and so should have an understanding of the needs of the clients they work with. Assessments will be requested for both reactive and proactive cases in order to respond effectively to emerging issues. Providers should be aware of some of the social factors affecting residents living in the Borough of Knowsley, and have an understanding of the Community Safety Partnership landscape and partnership working in Knowsley. Providers must be able to independently seek permission to carry out works be it private landlord, owner occupier or RSL and be able to start taking referrals immediately.
