Who Speclialist Work With The Business Analyst will report to Head of Data and work with the wider policy and project delivery team. What Specialists Work On Working for the Ministerial Data Strategy program Where the Work Takes Place Main location for the work will be at 2 Marsham Street, London SW1 4DF, with occasional other locations being central London and Croydon. Remote working may be available where appropriate. Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements The supplier is expected supply a resource working within a feature team made of up of the specialist skills required to deliver the outcomes. We expect the supplier to be flexible to our needs and can make working with a mixed team across multiple sites effective. Off site and remote working can be accommodated, however due to security considerations this would need to be discussed. Travel to regional sites to be agreed, expenses incurred from travel outside of the M25/Greater London will be subject to Home Office Travel and Subsistence Policy. The successful bidder will be asked for confirmation of security clearance or we will initiate clearance process where necessary. Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Demonstrable experience of the BA role working within fast paced, agile and waterfall project delivery methodologies and in the application of GDS services standards to digital delivery Proven expertise and experience of analysing, defining and articulating complex problems clearly across strategic, business, systems, process and data areas of work Demonstrable capability to develop stories and epics to a high quality standard that can be used by developer Demonstrable expertise of process modelling, gap analysis and requirements engineering (within agile frameworks) and the delivery of appropriate artefacts to progress development, achieve business objectives and TOMs Strong stakeholder relationship/management skills, demonstrating significant success in facilitating collaboration, influencing, communicating and negotiating at all levels Operational and Supplier, with the ability to resolve potential conflicts early Significant expertise and experience of undertaking options identification, analysis, evaluation and recommendation to enable informed strategic and delivery decisions Nice to Haves Proven expertise and experience of articulating business and user needs for data analytics within the public sector Demonstrable understanding, expertise and experience of working within Government departments, the general business operations, data, organisational structures, systems and processes Demonstrable experience of positively engaging and influencing senior stakeholder managers at a strategic level within Government departments No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria • Collaborative approach to delivery- and used to operating with a flat team hierarchy Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 65% Cultural fit 5% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers Budget range £700
