Tender description

The Council, within the Directorate of Economy and Infrastructure, has a significant programme of major infrastructure and transportation projects (greater than c. 5 000 000 GBP) in development and delivery. The Council requires independent technical assurance on aspects of these projects, including transport model assurance, design assurance, safety review, major planning application comments, project gateway review and construction costs assessments. The service is to provide advice, guidance and assurance to the Directorate and the project's governance, and to reduce risk by suggested mitigation's. Similar advice may also be required on smaller projects (less than c. 5 000 000 GBP) from time to time.
