City of London Freemen's School - Sports Hall Changing Room Extension

Tender description

The proposal consists of a single storey extension to the north side of the School’s Sports Hall. In plan a new corridor connects the existing hall with the new extension. The corridor runs the full length of the building and services a number of changing areas. There is a small amount of ancillary space. In section the new roof follows the line of the existing roof thus forming a large roof void. Construction is relatively simple with a steel frame and block work walls with timber cladding to match the School’s new music building. The duration of the contract is 26 weeks total including any shut down periods for Christmas, New Year and any other Bank Holidays.
