Blast-cleaning services for tubular structures

Tender description

The Contracting Authority is looking to appoint a single Economic Operator (Contractor) for the provision of External Cleaning and Drain Clearance Services across the PSNI Estate utilising an NEC3 Term Service Contract. The Economic Operator will be responsible for the provision of the following: External Cleaning will include the thorough cleaning of: Tanks, Interceptors, Oil Tank Bunds and Oil Fill Points. All Rainwater Goods — Including Gullies, Debris build up on Flat Roofs etc. Drain Clearance Services will include: The provision of a service to cater for the clearance of both internal and external blocked drains and of a CCTV service when required. The Economic Operator may have to dispose of some deposits as contaminated waste and therefore should hold a current Waste Carriers Licence. On occasions the Economic Operator may also be required to undertake a ‘Hygienic Clean’ of designated areas within the PSNI Estate on a Reactive basis. The service shall be made available 24 hours per day and 365 days per year (including all weekends and holiday periods). The Contract will be for an initial three year period with the possibility of 2 x 1-year extensions that will be at the Client's discretion. This requirement will be notified to the contractor prior to the expiry date of the 3-year fixed duration. The option to extend the Contract period by each additional year beyond the first extension will be notified to the Contractor prior to the expiry of the optional extension period.
