Winter-maintenance vehicles

Tender description

Lincolnshire County Council is reviewing their strategy for the procurement of gritter vehicles (Winter Maintenance Vehicles) and the provision of repairs and maintenance for these vehicles over their 10 year service life. As part of this review we are requesting feedback from the market to help shape our procurement strategy and ensure best value. The authority is expected to have a requirement for the renewal of 47 vehicles over the next 10 years and wishes to ensure that any replacement vehicles are maintained to the highest possible standards, and in strict compliance with the manufacturer's recommendations, for the period of their service lives. As part of this information gathering exercise we have provided a questionnaire, which we would be grateful if prospective suppliers could complete. Further to this, we may decide to organise a supplier engagement event, for more detailed discussions around our requirements; information will be forwarded to responders of this notice. It is envisaged that this procurement will not be divided into lots. The exact nature of the procurement will be decided upon evaluation of the pre-market engagement responses.
