Summary of the work The department has been looking at how grant applications, assessments and on-going monitoring can be consolidated across fewer platforms than currently. This is now at Beta phase and will need to go through the Digital Service Standard assessment process. The Developer will report directly to the Lead Technical Architect. Specialist role Developer Expected Contract Length 3 months with the option to extend for up to an additional 3 months Latest start date Monday 9 October 2017 Maximum Day Rate £625 Who Speclialist Work With Service Manager, Product Manager, Delivery Manager, Lead Technical Architect, Apprentice Developer, User Researcher/Business Analyst What Specialists Work On The aim is to create digital services that support the entire grant application process from posting the opportunity through to impact reporting of successful applicants. The successful supplier will be required to: • Build a production ready system, ensuring high quality code with unit test cases. • Develop a multi-stage application/approval process application, integrated with an Identity Management system and user profile screens so that users can make updates and view the application. • Provide mentoring and guidance to the Apprentice developer. • Work in SCALA.
