THE RECRUITMENT, MANAGEMENT AND DELIVERY OF TRAINING TO NEW AREAS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SECOND PHASE OF THE MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING TO LEAD ROLES IN SCHOOLS AND NHS CYPMH SERVICES PROJECT

Tender description

This is to procure a contractor to deliver the extension to the mental health services and schools link pilot. The key aspects of this work are: Recruit and manage 20 new CCGs and up to 1200 schools/colleges to take part in the joint workshops; Deliver a workshop training programme; and collate good practice on joint working from areas taking part in both phases of the pilot programme and to develop ways of sharing good practice nationally. The first phase of the pilot was delivered between November 2015 and March 2016, involving 27 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and 255 schools. An independent evaluation found that whilst the pilot was shown to have been successful in delivering key aims, it identified a number of aspects of delivery that would benefit from further testing: this will be done through this extension of the pilot.
