Stronger Futures Support for Families

Tender description

Portsmouth City Council, the 'Authority' is inviting tenders from suitably qualified organisations to deliver a service that provides support for families where the role of volunteers is a key element. This contract is part of the Authority's Integrated Early Help and Prevention Service, as directed by the Stronger Futures Board. The Authority currently commissions its services for outreach support for families separate to that of volunteer recruitment support and development. This new contract brings these services together. A provider or lead provider will offer a combined service to families. The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract by 11th December 2017 for the service to commence on the 1st April 2018. The initial contract period is 3 years with the option of extending the term by a further 2 years to a total term of 5 years in increments to be agreed subject to performance. The estimated value of the contract at current volume is £154,000 per annum.
