Tender description
Procurement of Greater Manchester Waste and Resource Management Services, including Residual Waste Management Services, Household Waste Recycling and Transfer Services, and Biowaste Management Services, and all associated works. Scope includes five residual waste sites; twenty Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC); eight Transfer Loading Stations (TLS); the Bolton Thermal Recovery Facility (TRF); the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF); a number of Biowaste facilities; the obligation to produce Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF); and associated rail transport and supply to the Runcorn Thermal Power Station (TPS). In addition to the services, the scope will also include construction changes across a number of sites and facilities. The procurement may include Lots.
