Evaluation of HeadStart Blackpool. HeadStart Blackpool is a five year Lottery funded programme providing universal and targeted interventions for 10-16 year olds across Blackpool. HeadStart's objectives are: — To improve resilience in young people and prevent the onset of mental health conditions, — To build a resilient community across Blackpool, — To create a sustainable approach to resilience. HeadStart's fundamentals are as follows: — Co-production, — Whole systems change, — Social justice approach, — One universal language and approach to resilience, — Brave and innovative, — Asset based approaches. HeadStart is delivered through schools, in the community, and in homes providing approximately 20 universal and targeted interventions to local young people, the local workforce and parents/carers.
