Homelessness Direct Access Nightshelter

Tender description

Based on the current spend the estimated contract value is £76k per annum (full contract value therefore £228k across 36 months), with the current provider subsidising the service with additional fund-raising and grant awards, plus a level of volunteer-usage to provide a 24-hour presence at the night shelter. Further, the current provider provides the homeless direct access night shelter service from their own property which offers 18 en-suite units including disabled access provision, a day-centre providing additional resources such as meaningful activities, GP treatment room, and provisions associated with support for rough sleepers such as food parcels, showers and laundry facilities. Please note that we are requesting expressions of interest before a decision is made on whether the contract is formally tendered. If there are no expressions of interest received then negotiations will commence with the existing provider of the service.
