GSSI Benchmarking Service (Aquaculture)

Tender description

BIM would like to invite tenders to engage the services of a 3rd party consultancy to assist in terms of support to formally benchmark BIM’s suite of accredited Aquaculture Quality Assurance Schemes against the FAO based GSSI Global Benchmark Tool, with the view of attaining full GSSI Benchmarked Status. This tender seeks specific assistance in: • The development of appropriate Certification Program Management Documentation and Processes that are in line with Global Sustainable Seafood Benchmarking Criteria • Expertise needed to manage and develop Standard setting processes for standards editing and public comment that are in line with Global Sustainable Seafood Benchmarking Criteria • Expertise needed to support BIM with external GSSI benchmark auditors • Expertise needed to manage and review Certification and Accreditation Bodies operating in the BIM Aquaculture Programs • The contracted term is estimated to be approximately 60 days.
