Framework Tender for the Supply of Hardware and Ironmongery

Tender description

The Council is seeking tenders from Suppliers who are interested in joining our Framework for supplying Hardware and Ironmongery (locks, Hinges, door furniture, padlocks, silicone, fixings etc). The Framework will be divided into Lots. There will be predominantly 4 Main Departments within the Council that will regularly use this Framework and they are ISG, Asset Management, Parks and Building and Technical Services. Although, the Framework will be open to all CBMDC Departments for use when ever required.. Industrial Services Group (ISG) is a wholly-owned part of City of Bradford Metropolitan Distict Council (The Council) that manufactures, supplies and installs a range of PVC-u windows, PVC-u doors, composite doors in PVC-u frames, and structural curtain walling products to the construction and social housing markets. Key material supplied into this service is a range of Double Glazed Units (DGU’s) of differing sizes and compsitions. Building and Technical Services (FM) – Carry out maintence and refurbishment works to public buildings including schools. Building, Technical & Architectural Services manage the Council’s corporate budgets for repairs and maintenance and provide a comprehensive planned, re-active and cyclical maintenance service for the Council’s operational estate. Parks – Maintain the Councils Parks and Landscapes throughout the district. Asset Management – Estates & Property are responsible for all aspects of the Council’s property assets, including the strategic and day-to-day management of the Council’s operational and investment estates, along with its surplus land and property.
