Tender description

The main purpose of the service is delivery of off-site programmes for learners on roll of Leeds' Schools, Academies and SILCs for identified learners aged 11-19. Leeds City Council Children's Services (Childrens Services) deem off site provision to be that when learners access part of their learning entitlement at an off-site (i.e. out of school) provider during the academic day. It is expected that learners will follow a nationally recognised programme or qualification which is included in section 96/97 of the Learning and Skills Act 2000 and that will be accredited to the home school's assessment and attainment table. Off-site educational provision does not include any out of school hour's activities.
