Tender description

NHS South of England Procurement Services (SoEPS), acting on behalf of Health Education England (HEE — The Commissioner) will be commencing a tender for the provision of Public Health Lead Employer Services. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners intention. HEE London and South East (HEE LaSE) is looking to procure a single Lead Employer for all its Public Health Specialty Trainees whilst working across Hospital based placements and placements with non-NHS organisations (in particular with Local Authorities). HEE London and South East is looking to procure a new Lead Employer for an initial contract term of 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The ITT is expected to be published on 27.10.2017. A separate advert will be released advising of this. There is currently no further information available. The commissioner reserves the right not to proceed with the Procurement, or any part thereof, or change the requirements as necessary at any time. It is the intention of the commissioner that the procurement will be conducted as on OJEU Service Contract using an Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The estimated contract value is: 50 600 GBP - 61 600 GBP per year (including VAT) — full term of 3 years plus option to extend by a further 2 years. Maximum 253 000 GBP - 308 000 GBP over term of 5 years. The above figures are based on a management fee ranging between 460 - 560 GBP per trainee.
