Tender description

This is a Contract Award Notice and as such the procurement process has now ended. The Research, Appraisal and Support Framework consists of 3 closely aligned areas — Finance and Technical Support; Project Development, Appraisal, Delivery and Review and Research. This particular Notice relates to Lot 3 Research. The Framework has been awarded for 3 years with an optional 1 year extension. It is estimated that the total value of the services for this Lot over the maximum duration of 4 years will be between 1 730 000 GBP and 2 000 000 GBP excluding VAT. This is the figure which has been used in II.1.7), II.2.4) and V.2.4). This is based on an estimated annual value of between 433 000 GBP and 500 000 GBP excluding VAT. These services will be required from October 2017 for a period of 3 years, unless terminated in accordance with the provisions of the Framework Agreement, with HIE having the option to extend for a further 1 year period. The contract has been awarded under a multi supplier Framework basis. 7 suppliers have been appointed to this Lot. The total value of the Research framework, including any possible extensions, is up to 2 000 000 GBP.
