Arun District Council - Lashmar Multi-Use Games Area - AWARD

Tender description

This contract has been awarded - Arun District Council are looking for a contractor to improve the recreational facilities at Lashmar Recreation Ground. Set in the parish of East Preston, Lashmar Recreation Ground is approximately a 1.4 hectare site which is used for general recreation and organised football. It currently has a small skateboard recreation ground, youth shelter, basketball ring and play area (swings, climbing frames etcetera). These facilities are categorised as a NEAP (Neighbourhood Equipped Area for Play). East Preston Parish Council has consulted local residents with regard to improving recreational facilities and identified a need for a MUGA in the area. Given the details set out in the specification tenderers are to offer a scheme that provides good value for money whilst potentially providing the most satisfying experience for users.
