Tender description

The Business Insights Panel (BIP) will make a broader, more representative range of UK businesses readily available to policy researchers at short notice and low-cost. The main objectives of this project include: • Improve the quality of policy making by providing ready access to a wide range of businesses; • Ensure a more transparent, inclusive approach in engagement with businesses; • Generate rapid early insight on specific policy issues in dynamic environment; • Reduce time and cost of robust ad-hoc business engagement and small-scale research; and • Manage request for evidence in a coordinated and streamlined way to maximise efficiency and to minimise the burden on businesses. We are looking to recruit a pre-profiled database of businesses varying by size, sector and regions that have consented to participate in periodic ad-hoc policy-related research. The data owner of the business contacts should be BEIS.
