Velindre Fundraising is the leading Wales charity engaged in overseas challenges, organising at least one challenge a year since 2010. Previous treks have been to Patagonia, Peru and Kilimanjaro. Bike rides have taken place on the East and West Coast of America, and in Canada. Each trip normally attract around 40 — 50 participants, with potential for back to back trips if there is a demand. The successful Tour Operator will have a wealth of experience in organising overseas charity challenges at high altitude of up to 5 200 meters. They will work very closely with Velindre staff and local overseas Ground Handlers to ensure comprehensive tour management, correct levels of Health and Safety, event management and a high level of customer care.
