Tender description

Procurement of the Scottish Household Survey (SHS) for the period 2018-2021 (with the possibility of being extended for up to 2 further years). Procurement of the Scottish Household Survey (SHS) for the period 2018-21 (with the possibility of being extended for up to 2 further years). The SHS provides information about the characteristics, attitudes and behaviour of Scottish Households and individuals on a wide range of issues, spanning transport, housing, environment, culture and sport, and other topics. The SHS has been running continuously since 1999. Over this time the SHS has provided information annually at national level and local authority level every 1 to 2 years. From 2012, the SHS was substantially redesigned and now includes the Scottish House Condition Survey (SHCS) which provides a vital source of information on the condition of Scottish housing stock and fuel poverty. This includes a follow-up Physical Survey of dwellings and energy use modelling which is the basis for the production of statistics on energy efficiency, energy use and fuel poverty.
