SPS1130 Support to Disabled Children in the Home and in the Community

Northumberland County Council is seeking to establish a framework of a maximum of 8 suppliers to provide short break respite through an open procurement process under the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. Short breaks are part of a continuum of services, which support disabled children and their families. They include the provision of day, evening and weekend activities for the child or young person and can take place in the child's own home, the home of an approved carer or in a community setting. This procurement will be evaluated based on 100% quality criterion as detailed within the tender documentation and price will be agreed through a mini competition at call off. A capped rate of £14.50 per hour applies.
