Provision of an Identity and Access Management Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to provide users with a seamless experience to access ICT services and systems in a safe and secure manner. Provision of an Identity and Access Management Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to provide users with a seamless experience to access ICT services and systems in a safe and secure manner. ICT Services operates, for the main part, what can be considered as a traditional set-up for Identity and Access Management (IAM) with access to systems and services through deployed managed devices on the local network, using Active Directory. A ‘Hard Token’ 2 factor authentication technology using RSA tokens is deployed to provide remote access to the Council's hosted systems and services within its managed Data Center. As more ICT services based on the SaaS model are being adopted and deployed within the Council, it has become necessary to think differently about how IAM can be more efficiently deployed and managed in a secure, scalable and easily deployable way, providing a seamless experience for our users.
