Peel Ports is tendering for a supplier or multiple suppliers to provide manned and mobile guarding services across our UK Ports. The tender is split into four lots, covering: Medway Ports; Clydeport; Great Yarmouth; and Mersey (which encompasses the Port of Liverpool, Manchester Ship Canal, Liverpool 2, and Heysham Port). The detailed service requirements vary to some degree by location, but all require a supplier who is able to manage and motivate a workforce in a complex operational setting, provide excellent customer service, and deliver a secure and professional guarding service across the port estate. In addition, Mersey covers control of a CCTV operational control room. All ports also have areas that operate under ISPS code requirements, which mean effective (and auditable) searches and access control form an integral part of the requirement. As per description of procurement above. Mersey includes manned guarding, mobile guarding and operation of a CCTV control room. Includes foot and vehicle patrols, access control and searching. Associated account management. Provision of a Patrol Management System for tracking mobile patrols and pushing routes to patrols.
