Refuse collection services

Tender description

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is seeking new Streetscene contract(s) to include waste collection and recycling service, street cleansing and grounds maintenance services across the Borough. This is an opportunity for contractor(s) to work in partnership with the Council to protect and enhance the local environment. Contracts will commence April 2020. Refuse, Recycling and recycling services to include: — Separate collection of recyclables, organic waste and refuse. — Collection of other household waste, including bulky and clinical wastes. — Collection of commercial waste and recycling. — Street sweeping. — Litter picking. — Emptying of Council's network of litter/dog bins. — Removal of fly-tipping. Grounds Maintenance Services to include: — Grass cutting, — Hedge and flail cutting, — Maintenance of shrub beds, — Leaf clearance, — Bedding and bulb planting and maintenance.
