Provision, Operation, Maintenance and Management of a Civic Amenity Site in South Kilkenny

Kilkenny County Council is seeking tenders for the provision and operation of a Civic Amenity Site/ Waste Disposal & Recycling Centre in South County Kilkenny to serve the population of South Kilkenny. Required Location The Waste Disposal & recycling Centre shall be located in South County Kilkenny within the Piltown Municipal District, per attached map. The facility location shall be convenient as possible for the people of South County Kilkenny including those residents in Ferrybank, Piltown, Mooncoin, Kilmacow, Glenmore, Slieverue and Mullinavat. The facility shall be located within 2km of the motorway exit or within 2km of these National Primary/ Secondary Road/Regional Road, namely the N25, N24, M9 and R448 (former N9) within the Piltown Municipal District. Required features The Waste Disposal and Recycling Centre shall be purpose built and shall include specific features and traffic management similar to the existing Dunmore civic amenity site situated north of Kilkenny City.
