Tender description

The Council is inviting suitably experienced and qualified organisations to tender for the delivery of a Minor Adaptations Service within the boundaries of 5 Borough/District areas of North Yorkshire which will include fitting of minor adaptations to service users' homes and external grounds to improve access, promote safety and independence. The 5 Borough/ District areas of the county are Harrogate, Craven, Hambleton, Richmondshire and Selby. Minor Adaptations are a key element in enabling people to stay independent at home for longer. Whilst referrals will come from the Council and Health partners, the Council wants to ensure that people have a trusted contractor available if they wish to arrange for minor adaptations themselves.
