Tender description

Nottingham City Council is seeking to establish an open accreditation of organisations able to deliver apprentice training across England. The Directory of Approved Apprenticeship Training Providers (DAAP) will be used by Nottingham City Council as a mechanism for securing approved and assessed provider to deliver apprentice training services as they are required. It will also be made available nationally for use by public body employers wishing to train apprentices across England. Nottingham City Council, and other public sector organisations will place orders for training services that meet both the needs of the apprentice, employer and value for money. The service agreement has been let under the Light Touch Regime for an initial period of 2 years with a possible extension of 2 further years, at the Councils discretion. Accredited providers will be selected to deliver training on the basis of who can best meet the needs of the apprentice, employer and value for money. The list will be reopened for applications from new Training Providers. All Training Providers on the DAAP must be approved on the Skills and Education Funding Agency Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers.
