Tender description

EDO Data Service Aim: to secure the data needed to produce a series of in-house briefing papers for publication looking at changes in financial and professional services jobs, roles, vacancies and skills at a City of London, London, and UK level over the last ten years. The Research team will undertake the analysis and production of these reports, but need to secure access to robust non-public data sources to provide the base material for this work. Services: We are seeking access to a database that collates robust information about a variety of employment-related characteristics, in particular employment at a detailed sector and occupation (SIC and SOC) level, job vacancies and skills sought by employers. This is not an exhaustive list - we are interested in the full profile of job data, and tenders should list all the data characteristics accessible. This database should contain data for the last ten years, and be possible to pull out at different geographies - in particular at a City, London, and UK level. Note that we are seeking a database subscription for a database that we can use and access on site in the City of London's offices, rather than analysis by consultants. Our selection will be based on the range, relevance and robustness of the data in the database, with consideration given to the interface and ease of access. We will require at least ten licenses for the database, though packages that increase the number of licenses without additional cost will be welcomed, to enable occasional users in other teams.
