Tender description

The new UK Aid Strategy will work closely with the cities to attract investments; improve cities governance and regulation; make cities more energy efficient and climate resilient to respond and be more women-friendly and provide smart solutions for basic services like transport, health and taxation, with a focus on creating jobs in the informal sector where most of the urban poor work. As a part of the new agenda of more joined up working of the HMG departments, UK support will form an additional integral part of the overall UK government urban offer and deliver.
