Tender description

VIVID currently has 2 supply only contracts for materials. One for the Basingstoke (ex-Sentinel) area and 1 for the remaining stock (ex-First Wessex). Both of these contracts will be terminated at the end of March 2018. And it is our intention to consolidate our supply chain across our operational area. Through this process we hope to reduce costs and improve efficiency by minimising trade-staff down time, allowing VIVID and the successful supplier/s to deliver great services to each other and VIVID's customers. This tender will focus on the following; Value for money — not limited to the cost of materials, but through stock rationalisation, van stock replenishment, reduction in 3rd party purchases. Full integration of our systems with the successful tenderer, allowing for van stock replenishment, better auditing facilities, improved job costing and tighter purchasing control. Improved services for VIVID, giving consideration to deliveries to site, drop boxes, out of hours services, welfare facilities for our trade-staff visiting branches, Consolidated invoicing, Area for trade waste/equipment to conform with EA regulations, Out of Hours facilities. Environmental/Sustainability issues. VIVID repairs have a team of 56 gas engineers. The team are split into gas servicing, gas installation and responsive repairs and require daily deliveries of boilers, boiler spares and van stock. VIVID also have their own planned maintenance teams who require daily deliveries of bathrooms.
