The GMC is looking to appoint a one stop shop provider for air, rail and hotel bookings. The overall spend on travel and hotels for 2016 was approximately 2 500 000 GBP — 1 400 000 GBP on hotels (mainly in Manchester), 800 000 GBP on rail, 200 000 GBP on air and the remainder on conferences and car hire. An integrated journey booking tool will be sought with traditional call centre back, innovative account management and management information. We are looking to hold information gathering meetings with interested suppliers on 9th February to cover the following topics: Innovations in the Travel Management market Booking tools and interfaces Fee structure options Best practice for management information To book a 45 minute slot, please contact the Procurement Team on 0161 923 6340 we will operate on a first come first served basis.
