Tender description

Ship Control Centre (SCC) Training Simulator. Ship Acquisition which is part of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) proposes to place a contract with L-3 Marine Systems UK Limited (Company Number 05341813) (‘the company’) for the supply of an Ship Control Centre Training Simulator to be used for IPMS Training for the Queen Elizabeth Class (QEC) Aircraft Carriers in HMS Sultan. The Contract covers the supply of an SCC Training Simulator which replicates the system installed on the aircraft Carriers spares (‘the goods’). The SCC Training Simulator is comprised of software and configured electrical and electronic parts. The supply includes the installation and setting to work of the SCC Training Simulator at a training facility and the development of training courses on use of the system. The estimated value of the supply is 900 000 GBP (Nine hundred thousand pounds) and its duration is 24 months.
