TC025 Mental Health Social Inclusion Services

Tender description

The Borough Council of Bolton is prepared to receive tenders for Mental Health Social Inclusion Services which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. The Greater Manchester Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy sets out a number of Principles of Reform, which reflect the wider direction of reform for public services across the Greater Manchester Combined Authority. These Principles are; • Use of an Asset Based approach that recognises and builds on the strengths of individuals, families and our communities rather than focussing on the deficits. • Behaviour change in our communities that builds independence and supports residents to be in control • Integrated services that place individuals, families, communities at the heart • A stronger prioritisation of wellbeing, prevention and early intervention • An evidence based understanding of risk and impact to ensure the right intervention at the right time. In accordance these Principles of Reform, the Authority is commissioning a new Social Inclusion Service for Adults with Mental Health Needs.
