Tender description

Hampshire County Council is seeking a provider to deliver on-site domiciliary care and support services at the Chesil Lodge Extra-Care Housing scheme Winchester comm October 2017. The aim is the provision of on-site 24/7 social care services within the scheme to improve choice and outcomes for vulnerable older and/or disabled people who are at risk of increased dependence without such provision. This service is required to deliver personal care to individuals with an assessed care need and its activities will be included in the definition of ‘Regulated Activities’ under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regs 2014. This service is also required to deliver additional support and/or activities designed to promote the well-being of residents within the scheme. Some of these additional support activities may fall outside the definition of ‘Regulated Activities’. Providers must be clear of the difference between the activities they will be required to deliver both. With reference to section II.1.5) Estimated total value — the value of 3 051 000 GBP represents the maximum value over the lifetime of the contract including possible extn. periods. The Council will run an open tender process. This is for a single service, therefore there will be no lots as part of this tender.
