Tender description
The purpose of this tender procedure is to secure a partner for the acceptance and processing of household garden waste for composting together with a small amount of the Council's own parks waste for the Borough Council of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, acting as a Waste Collection Authority. Annual tonnages are approximately 5 000 — 5 500 tonnes p.a. The Council proposes to enter into a contract from 1.3.2017 for an initial period of 1 year. The Council retains the option of extending the contract by up to 3 further 1 year periods, making a total possible contract length of up to 4 years.
