Who Speclialist Work With Multi-disciplinary team, mainly WebOps and back end developers, technical architect, user researchers, product managers, delivery managers, tech author What Specialists Work On Technical Leadership and decision making for the existing team to deliver an excellent user experience. Provide Cloud Foundry and technical expertise to ensure that the technical direction meets user needs. Support the product manager in writing stories and in meeting current and potental users of the PaaS. Suggest solutions to problems that users of the PaaS have. Providing skills transfer to public servants on the team. Where the Work Takes Place Holborn, London Early Market Engagement None Working Arrangements Monday to Friday based in our office (currently Holborn we will be moving to Aldgate in the next 6 months) starting work by 9.30am, 7.5 hours per day + lunch time Work Location Holborn, London Security Clearance SC Security clearance is required. Additional T&Cs Standard Cabinet Office T&Cs Skills & Experience Experience while in a tech leadership role of collaborating closely with colleagues in order to meet users’ needs Broad hands-on experience of operating a Cloud Foundry platform in a production environment Broad architectural knowledge of Cloud Foundry Good awareness of the Cloud Foundry ecosystem Experience using and operating BOSH Experience using and operating concourse Broad knowledge of modern development tools, practices and workflows (e.g. containerisation, continuous integration and version control) Good knowledge of running a production system on Amazon Web Services Some experience of provisioning tools for AWS e.g. terraform, cloudformation, boto Experience of infrastructure and operations techniques Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Experience of providing technical leadership in a live product environment Ability to prioritise and decide Awareness of security principles Strong problem-solving ability Nice to Haves Experience of analysing security threats and defining what needs to be done to address them Experience of supporting a live product while in a tech leadership role No. of Specialists to Evaluate 5 Cultural Fit Criteria Experience of working in several multi-disciplinary agile teams Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 65% Cultural fit 15% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers Budget range £900
