Tender description

Oxford City Council (the ‘City Council’) is seeking to award a Service Concession Contract to allow for the design, implementation, and operation of a high capacity innovation commercial wireless network which will deliver open space Wi-Fi coverage as well as enhance mobile coverage within the City Council and Oxfordshire County Council and named districts within the County of Oxfordshire (Cherwell District may access any agreement resulting from this ITT in the future, subject to suitable agreed commercial terms, but are not bound to do so). The Concession Contract shall be in accordance with the attached documents comprising Terms & Conditions (Concessions Contract), Specification, Requirement, Methodology Responses and Commercial Template. Any Concessions resulting from this ITT will be subject to the Terms and Conditions at Schedule E (the ‘Triparty Wireless Concession Contract’). The Contract sets out the terms and conditions between the Authority and the successful Concessionaire and the rights of access and use of council owned assets for the deployment of telecommunication wireless equipment. Appointment under the Contract will mean that the Concessionaire will have access to the specified assets on the terms and conditions set out in the Contract throughout the duration of the Contract.
