Integrated Infection Prevention and Control Service to support Public Health and Primary Care. Wirral Borough Council is seeking to commission effective Infection Prevention and Control Services which prevent infections by the provision of comprehensive, high quality, evidence based infection control support in the health economy. Aims: — To reduce the burden of infection within the health economy. — To engage staff at all levels, through effective leadership, in order to develop and embed a culture that supports infection prevention and control and helps minimise and mitigate against the threat posed by infective agents within the community and across the health economy.
