Tender description

This PIN is to announce an open market consultation and early announcement of the procurement of IT Services for Magnox Ltd. Magnox has a requirement for IT Services including support, infrastructure and telephony across its sites. Magnox is responsible for decommissioning the UK Magnox reactors and research sites by the year 2028. There are currently 12 sites across the UK and approximately 3 500 end users, with plans to close some sites and potentially reduce the number of end users by 1 000 over the Contract period. Magnox currently operates a standard Windows server / Windows 7 Desktop platform with central hosting, MPLS WAN with IP / traditional telephony mix. The precise scope of the services and division into lots will be finalised following supplier engagement activities. Currently Magnox is planning to award the contract in quarter 1 2018 with a go live date of October 2018. The proposed length of contract is 4+1 in addition to the transition period.
