Hotel construction work

Tender description

The construction of a new 128-bed (7-storey) Hotel and Surface Car Parks at the Gateway site of the Northshore development within Stockton-on-Tees. The successful contractor will be appointed via a JCT design and build contract including Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council contract amendments. The Architect, Civil/Structural Engineer, M&E Services Engineer, Landscape Architect, Interior Designer, Fire Engineer, Acoustician and BREEAM Adviser will be novated to the Contractor at the point of execution of the building contract. A Design and Access Statement produced by the Architect and design information comprising the GA site plan, floor plans and elevations are provided. Outline planning permission for the Northshore development (including the Northshore Gateway site) was granted in 2009 (08/36644/EIS).
