Tender description

Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (BaNES CCG) seeks to commission an Urgent Care Centre Service and streaming at the Emergency Department for BaNES patients and visiting patients, due to current services ending on 31.4.2018. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit for the Commissioner. This restricted procedure procurement seeks to select a bidder who can effectively, efficiently and safely deliver and Urgent Care Centre Service and front door streaming model, collocated with RUH ED. Documentation outlining the process/requirement and the portal to express an interest is at in-tendhost.co.uk/scwcsu/aspx/Home The contract value is up to 996 000 GBP per annum for 60 months from 1.5.2018 with an extension option at Commissioner discretion for any number of periods to a max. of 60 months (9 960 000 GBP over 120 months) and will be based on the NHS Standard Contract with schedule 2L APMS inserted. Bath and North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (BaNES CCG) are the Commissioner. Wiltshire CCG (www.wiltshireccg.nhs.uk) and Somerset CCG (www.somersetccg.nhs.uk) may elect to make use of the resulting contract at some future date.
