Tender description
The total value of the contract will be between 120 000 000 and 10 000 000 GBP. All financial values within this notice are for the contract term, and should be treated as indicative. Evaluation criteria: Quality: 60 % of which 10 % is assigned to social value, Price weighting: 40 %. The Crisis Service forms part of the intermediate care service which is a range of integrated services, and supports the promotion of independence and faster recovery from illness. The Service aims to prevent unnecessary acute hospital admission, premature admission to residential care, support timely discharge from hospital, to provide urgent care and support in crisis situations such as carer breakdown. The Service is to offer care and support for adults in their own homes when an acute situation or crisis occurs and who without additional support would normally be admitted to hospital or residential care. The Service will be available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and has to be made available to many Service Users at the same time in different geographical locations across Central Lancashire. The Crisis service contract will be on a block purchase arrangement. The block contracted hours will be 948 hours per week from the commencement of the contract but could increase to a maximum of 3 016 hours per week.
