Delivery of a Catering Service at Elmhurst Short Stay Service

Persona Care and Support Ltd are a Local Authority trading company that provide adult social care to the residents of Bury. They operate a short stay facility for older people at Elmhurst on Whalley Road, Whitefield. The facility has been recently modernised and refurbished to an excellent standard with a modern hotel style feel. There are 27 beds within the facility which are open 365 days per year. We are now looking to introduce a catering facility at Elmhurst which will provide catering for short-stay customers within the unit, and their visitors. A similar service has been place for the past two years albeit on a concessionary. The same service model has recently been adopted at Spurr House short stay. As well as the internal kitchen facility there is space on the site to create an outside eating area should the successful bidder consider this as an option. The service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission and undergoes regular inspections from both CQC and Bury Council Quality Assurance Team. Keywords: Catering
