Tender description
The Provision of Administration Services for the Chevening Scholarship Programme. The Chevening Programme has grown to 1 800 students in 2015-2016, funded through 46 500 000 GBP in government funding of which approximately 96 per cent is Overseas Development Aid (ODA) and 4 per cent non-ODA, supported by around 6 500 000 GBP of funding from business, academic and other partners. Now with over 44 000 alumni worldwide, Chevening is a programme which reads across to National Security Strategy Objective 2 (Projecting our Global Influence).The ambition is for Chevening to be a world class scholarship programme through: Selection of excellent scholars worldwide; Delivering an excellent experience for scholars during their time in the UK; Developing a dynamic and influential global alumni network. These key aims will be delivered, whilst ensuring the programme is value for money for the UK taxpayer, by: Ensuring that the contractor, in conjunction with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's (FCO) network, delivers a consistently high quality of in-country alumni networks around the world.
