9604 - Planting, delivery and maintenance of floral containers

Tender description

In order to support its priority to make Norwich a prosperous and vibrant city, Norwich City Council intends to continue to enhance the appearance of public places with a combination of floral displays which include hangings baskets, barrier baskets, planters and other containers. In recent years the floral displays in Norwich have gained local, regional and national recognition in various horticultural competitions. In order to continue this initiative for the Summer/Autumn periods of 2017 and hopefully beyond, the authority has a requirement to contract with an experienced supplier who can grow on, plant up and maintain sited floral containers. The contract will initially be for one year with an option to extend for two additional years to Autumn 2019 (the extension is will be made on an annual basis dependent on availability of funding / budget). The first year will run from 01/04/2017 to 31/03/2018
