THE BOARDING, KENNELLING AND COLLECTION OF ANIMALS

Tender description

This Framework is for the boarding, kennelling and collection of animals, stray or otherwise. The Framework will cover the combined areas of the 3 local authorities. The Framework is split into 4 Lots corresponding to the 3 local authority areas and a combination of the 3 local authority areas; Lot 1 - Gateshead Lot 2 - South Tyneside Lot 3 - Sunderland Lot 4 - Lots 1 - 3 combined Any contractor bidding must be licensed by the relevant member organisation under the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963. The Council will appoint a maximum of 3 contractors to each Lot of the framework. In order to be appointed to this framework, following tender evaluation your organisation must be ranked 1 - 3 in each lot for which you have applied. The Council will use the 1st ranked contractor in the relevant lot in the first instance. Should the 1st ranked Contractor have no capacity the 2nd ranked Contractor will be used. Should the 2nd ranked contractor have no capacity the 3rd ranked contractor will be used. The Councils will award either Lots 1 - 3 or Lot 4, depending on which is the most economically advantageous Lot or Lots.
