Tender description

The new Dumfries and Galloway Hospital in Dumfries plan to invest in a temperature monitoring system for each area. This will allow the highest standards of monitoring of equipment and rooms to support Labs, Pharmacy and Catering during routine preparation and analysis of patient samples and reagents within the laboratory facility, pharmaceutical preparations and drugs within the Pharmacy and food supplies and meals within the Catering Dept. Dumfries and Galloway Hospital also require to monitor the temperatures of blood fridges in some of the surrounding hospitals. These include: Galloway Community Hospital; Moffat Hospital; Castle Douglas Hospital; Kirkcudbright Hospital; Newton Stewart Hospital. The temperature monitoring system will be delivered, installed and commissioned into the new laboratory facility around late August 2017– this will be phase 1, with a return visit to setup and connect equipment that is transferring from the old facility December 2017 — this will be phase 2.
