Stop Smoking Service

Tender description

The aim of the service is to contribute to reducing smoking prevalence which would lead to a reduction in the incidence of smoking-related health problems and deaths. Specific objectives of the service are to: • Improve access to evidence-based smoking cessation support for Knowsley residents, especially those in the hard-to-reach communities • Contribute to reducing smoking prevalence and reduction in health inequalities attributed to smoking • Contribute to increasing capacity within partner organisations to deliver smoke-free environment and workplaces • Contribute to the management of smoking-related health conditions e.g. COPD. • Support non-specialist smoking cessation providers e.g. pharmacy, midwives, and lifestyle advisors to deliver appropriate stop smoking interventions Keywords: Health, Smoking
