Stations Maintenance and Facilities Management Contracting Model Strategy

Overview of Requirement: High Speed Two (HS2) Limited (HS2 Ltd) intends to procure a Contract for development of a Stations Maintenance and Facilities Management Contracting and Organisation model strategy through the process set out in the ITQ. HS2 Ltd requires the strategy document to be developed by the Bidder under this contract to include: • Definition of the optimum models of operation for station maintenance and facilities management (including in-house and subcontracting models) aligned to the stations operating sub-concept. • Identification of the indicative types, volumes and methodologies for undertaking the maintenance and facilities management at each of the four HS2 Ltd stations. • Consideration and documentation of the maintenance and facilities management best practice and how they apply to Stations Contracting and Organisation models. Areas of innovation will need to be included within this element of the strategy works. • Definition of the best practice in contracting arrangements for maintenance of critical station assets. • An outline Station Maintenance and Facilities Management Organisation model for each of four HS2 Ltd stations. Procurement Process and Next Steps: The procurement exercise is being conducted using HS2 Ltd.’s e-Sourcing Portal Bravo. In order to obtain a copy of the ITQ documentation and participate in this procurement exercise, prospective Applicants will need to initially register on Bravo e-Sourcing Portal as per the instructions included in the 'Additional Information' section below. All messages should be sent through the Bravo secure messaging facility following publication of the ITQ documentation.
